Is this you?

You don't have to be falling apart to need help.

You may still be working. Still parenting. Still showing up. Still getting things done. But you may also be:

You don't have to wait until things become unbearable before asking for help.

What we treat

Focused adult psychiatric care.

Evaluation, diagnosis, and psychiatric medication management for the concerns adults bring to us most often.

Anxiety

When worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, panic, or constant "what ifs" begin interfering with work, relationships, sleep, or daily life, we can help you understand what's happening and explore appropriate treatment options.

Depression

When low mood, fatigue, guilt, irritability, or loss of interest make ordinary days feel heavy, we look closely at what you're experiencing and discuss treatment options — including medication when clinically indicated.

ADHD

When distractibility, procrastination, disorganization, or trouble finishing what you start affect work, school, or home, we offer careful evaluation and ongoing management of attention-related symptoms in adults.

Stress & Life Transitions

New roles, caregiving, grief, career change, or burnout can push anyone past their limits. We help you sort out what is situational, what may be clinical, and what support could help.

Sleep difficulties are addressed as they relate to psychiatric symptoms or treatment. We also evaluate and manage a range of other adult mental-health concerns. If you're unsure whether MBSS is the right fit for your needs, contact the practice before scheduling.

Why MBSS

You deserve more than a prescription and a rushed check-in.

At Mind Body Soul and Spirit, psychiatric care is collaborative and personal. We take time to understand your symptoms, medications, stressors, functioning, and goals so you can understand your treatment—not simply receive it.

Time to listen

Visits built around your history and what you are actually experiencing.

Patient education

Clear explanations of your diagnosis, options, benefits, and risks.

Medication management

Thoughtful prescribing, monitoring, and adjustment over time.

Shared decision-making

You help choose the direction of your care.

Whole-person context

Sleep, stress, relationships, work, and meaning are part of the picture.

Continuity of care

An ongoing clinical relationship, not a one-time appointment.

How care works

A clear path from first visit to ongoing support.

01

Initial Evaluation

We discuss your symptoms, history, current medications, concerns, goals, and how you are functioning day to day.

02

Collaborative Treatment Plan

We review appropriate treatment options together, including medication when clinically indicated.

03

Ongoing Follow-Up

We monitor progress, medication response, side effects, functioning, and changing needs over time.

Treatment decisions are individualized and made together with you.

Faith-informed care

Your beliefs are welcome here—never required.

Faith is part of the identity of Mind Body Soul and Spirit, and many patients find meaning, hope, and grounding in it. Care here is always clinical first.

Faith is welcomed when it is meaningful to you, but never imposed. Patients of all backgrounds are welcome.

Verona Haughton, APRN, PMHNP-BC

I provide thoughtful virtual psychiatric care for adults throughout Florida who may be functioning on the outside while quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, or major life changes.

My approach combines careful assessment, medication management, patient education, and collaborative decision-making. I take time to understand not only your symptoms, but also how they are affecting your work, relationships, responsibilities, and daily life.

I believe psychiatric care should feel personal rather than rushed. Medication may be part of treatment when clinically appropriate, but my goal is for you to understand your treatment plan and feel comfortable participating in decisions about your care.

My practice is whole-person and faith-informed. If faith is meaningful to you, it is welcome as part of your care; it is never imposed, and patients of all backgrounds are welcome.
